The Short Version

ADHD Reader does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data — ever. Everything the app does happens entirely on your Mac. No accounts, no servers, no analytics, no tracking.

What Data Does ADHD Reader Store?

ADHD Reader stores the following data locally on your device only, using macOS's standard UserDefaults and sandboxed storage mechanisms:

Your reading progress (word position) per document, so you can resume where you left off
Your recently opened files (last 5 documents), stored as file references
Your app preferences (reading speed, font size, etc.)

This data never leaves your Mac. It is not uploaded, synced, or accessible to anyone other than you.

Network Access

ADHD Reader requests network access only when you explicitly use the URL import feature — to fetch the content of a web page you have manually entered. No other network requests are made at any time.

No usage data, crash reports, analytics, or telemetry are ever transmitted.

Third-Party Services

ADHD Reader does not integrate with any third-party services, SDKs, analytics platforms, or advertising networks.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share any data with any third parties — because we don't collect any data to share.

Children's Privacy

ADHD Reader does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy is ever updated, the revised version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date. Since we collect no data, material changes are unlikely.
